To ensure the app is accurately reading the color you want to identify, you will need to select that color. When identifying a color in a picture, you must place your finger on the device's screen. As you move your finger across the screen, the app will identify the different colors within the picture you select. For live view, simply make sure that the color is within the square in the middle of the screen.
