A Mortician's Tale is a story-driven death positive video game where you play as a mortician tasked with running a funeral home. Take on the role of recent funeral direction graduate Charlie as she learns the ropes of the business and industry. Prepare the bodies of the deceased (via embalming or cremation), attend their funerals and listen to their loved ones' stories, and interact with Charlie's coworkers, clients, and bosses.

A Mortician's Tale is an informative, honest, and sometimes humorous look at the current state of and the future of the western death industry.

Way too short

I was pretty excited about playing this game but when I already completed it in less than 30 minutes I felt kinda let down. It’s a good game but it’s so short it’s definitely not worth 4 euros :(

Extremely short

I’m not one to complain about the length of a game if the gameplay itself is beautiful/unique, but this was ridiculous...

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the story and and subject matter. The message behind it is very nice and made me think. But for this price... It was over before it felt like it started.

Disappointed

As a big fan of Caitlin and Ask A Mortician, I was pumped to play this game. But after paying €3,50 for about 15 minutes of gameplay, without any challenging aspects or difficulty, I’m just very disappointed. I’m glad to support Caitlin’s work, but ugh this is just too disappointing :(
