Trading 212 - Stocks & ETFs

Trading 212 advertises attractive EUR interest rates, yet many customers receive 3.5% while others are limited to 2.4%. This is a 45% difference in yield, which is far from insignificant.
The company provides little transparency about why customers are treated differently. If there are eligibility requirements, they should be clearly stated and easily accessible. Otherwise, it creates the impression that customers are being arbitrarily segmented and disadvantaged.
A financial platform should prioritize fairness and transparency. Until Trading 212 explains these discrepancies and applies a more consistent policy, I cannot recommend this service.

Very slow in verifying account and it’s taking more than 3 days now. Meantime I opened account in platforms like trading republic within an hour. Moving forward with other platforms! Ciao.

Hands down the best investing app I’ve used. It has a super user-friendly interface which makes it perfect for beginners. Plus, no commission fees, auto-invest, and a debit card with cashback. 10/10!

As long as the app remains commission free and no commission for withdrawing money from the app, Trading 212 truly deserves 5 stars. They also have a strict price management algorithm that makes sure stocks are bought exactly at the limit price you want unlike some other apps that force you to agree to their price management algorithm and end up buying stocks at a higher limit price than what was intended. Keep it up developers! I love how unique the app is with their 0 commission scheme! An improvement would be if there was a way to lend stocks and earn an income from a stock lending program for European investors. I know that European investors are legally ineligible to participate in the share lending program but if there was another way the team could work around this legally then I would appoint Trading 212 as the king of stock trading services.

Snap de negatieve reviews niet. Trading 212 is duidelijk de beste keuze als het gaat om diversiteit, snelheid en kosten die een broker aan kan bieden.
Ik heb het even getest maar ik heb mijn geld altijd binnen een dag terug (als de markt open is).
Met een gerust hart beleg ik bij trading…dat was wel even anders bij ING, die laten je winsten verdampen omdat ze weigeren te verkopen als jij verkoop eist.

Endless ads appear for this app on YouTube, and a pop up jumps up right as the option to skip the ad appears. I attempted to skip the ad, which somehow caused the app to be downloaded onto my phone because of the ill placed pop up. This isn’t the fault of this app, but I never wanted to have this app in the first place and I think it’s scummy it’s that easy for an ad to trick someone into downloading an app without even asking for confirmation.

App works good again. I guess it was iOS since after a reset and reinstall of the app the issue was fixed. Reinstall was very easy and after sign-in all worked correct.

Using 3 different apps and the best one with the way transactions are transparent and handling is like cale walk so far

I’ve been using Trading 212 for quite some time, and honestly the frequent UI changes are exhausting.
Just when I get comfortable with one version, a new update completely rearranges everything.
The newer versions feel less intuitive and less efficient. Consistency matters more than constant redesign.

Aplikacja bardzo prosta i przejrzysta. Nie znalazłem nic lepszego wśród brokerów działających w Europie. Zerowe koszy utrzymania konta, darmowe transakcje, jedynie minimalna opłata za przewalutowanie jak ktoś handluje na rynkach US. Darmowy, wbudowany TradingView i dobrze działające alerty.

Trying to get a portfolio from another trading platform, has been a nightmare. No proper responses, missed trade and settlement multiple times and doesn’t have a service mindset to inform.

I’m from the Netherlands so I use iDeal, like most people living there.
You should offer by default to use this payment method, because I would have saved deposit fees of 0.7%..
So I’ve lost 14€ just because the credit card option was selected by default, while it would make more sense to offer the free option by default, in my case ideal.
Thankfully I realised ideal was available for free but I can imagine other people have wasted their money in deposit fee for no reason!

PLEASE STOP updating the app and making it a puzzle to find where I can invest in my Pie’s. Every month theres a new app version and either the Pie is moved somewhere or hidden, or the button to upload funds is hidden somewhere.

Really loving this app. Even recommended it to my family as it is very easy to use and navigate.

The devs definitely listen to the community with bringing back a part of the old interface!
I hope further updates keep the simplicity of the interface and that the devs continue to listen to our great investing community!
