Slow Shutter Cam

Tried this app to make pictures of the northern light. They were so bad compared to the normal camera app of my iPhone 14 pro with 3 sec shutter speed.
Might be that I din’t have all settings correct, but anyway, camera app did it without problems.

I love the fact that I can use bulb mode, and all other manual settings.
The sharpness however is just too poor to use the photo in any way in my opinion.
The standard iPhone camera has a much higher quality.

i can't take multiple photos since iOS upgrade. I always have to close the app to save a full photo.
I reinstalled the app and the problem is solved

Werkt heel goed met het noorderlicht. Je moet wel een statief hebben anders blijven de foto’s wat wazig.

works great on my iPad 6 , using it for stars , satellites , comets an more stuff in the dark sky .

We used this app to catch the Northern Lights. Before going to Finnish Lapland we didn’t want to spend too much on a professional camera, so this was the alternative. Although it’s not very sharp, thanks to Slow Shutter we now have a lasting memory of one of the most spectacular natural phenomenons in the world.

Met deze app kun je met een iPhone 5s en een statief foto’s maken van het noorderlicht. De kwaliteit is uiteraard minder dan foto’s met een full frame spiegelreflex camera.

Works great on my iPhone 8. Make sure to use a triPod. And try to have ISO as low as possible for best quality. The way this app manipulates the LE technique is impressive!

My to go to app when it comes down to longer exposure photos on my iPhone. Great update too!

Als ik de camera gebruik bij een stilstaand object, en met instellingen lowlight/expboost/15sec, dan krijg ik prachtige kwaliteits foto's die niet mogelijk zijn met de standaard camera app.
De andere functies waarmee je bijv. De snelweg met rijdende auto's in het donker op een coole manier kan vast leggen. Dit alles met hoge kwaliteit shots.
Echt een aanrader!

I can write a whole story about how much I love this app for long exposures, how great the interface works and how good the results are, but if you want great looking long exposure shots this is the only app that works better than best!

Werkt goed, vooral de mogelijkheid voor selectief scherpstellen is een uitkomst. Zit met smart te wachten tot dat de volledige resolutie vd iPad air ondersteunt wordt.

Deze app is gemaakt als een serieuze foto-app. Alles is goed instelbaar.
Motion blur, nachtfoto's, lichtsporen, hij kan het goed.
Bij andere apps zie je dat het beeld is opgebouwd uit losse frames, door zebrastrepen in de blur. Deze app stapelt ook frames, maar het verschil is dat dat aantal is instelbaar is tussen 20 en 60 frames/s. Daardoor je nachtopnames met weinig ruis kunt maken met 20 frames, of een mooie blur bij beweging en lighttrails maken met 60 frames per seconde.
En: geen advertenties.
Andere apps die ik probeerde hebben hele nare advertenties er in die me veel geld hadden kunnen kosten: de 'betaal nu' op de plek waar normaal de save-knop zit, bijvoorbeeld.

Manages to take pictures otherwise impossible!
Use the volume button on your earbuds to take pics without having to touch your phone itself, helps a lot!

Very easy to handle. Especially with the new camera on the iPhone 5s you really are able to create stunning pics.

I really like to play around with this app. You can make great pictures with minimal effort, and I figured it should be great to capture lightning and make these typical photo's of a highway showing the paths of the carlights, though I haven't tried it out yet... It's well worth the minimal investement, you get what you pay for.
