Onmogelijk om gewoon vrij muren te tekenen. Elke keer snapt de muur schuin ergens naar toe. Kan heel simpel zijn door gewoon een muur tekening functie te maken die aan het einde direct een volgende muur laat tekenen.

I am looking for an app that I can use for free and just want to do a one time colour test on the walls to see how they would look in my new house. I am not really interested in adding furniture at this point in time (I am not buying any new furniture). This app doesn’t look as if it works with colours, only layout. It is probably a nice app if you want to fit furniture in a room but although it’s free you still apparently need to sign up to use it (why?). I get enough spam, so I am a bit guarded with my email address. Nice that it seems to be one of the few free home design apps out there though, so for that reason I am giving 4 stars.

Not workable for normal people unfortunately. I tried the scan functionality, my square room resulted in a triangle. I tried starting from a floor plan photo, that did not work either. The user experience is bad, you don’t get good help within the app. I’ll go back to drawing on paper..

I made an entire plan with the items while using the 2023 updates, but now that I wanted to continue after months, all of the items I once used are gone from the menus. When searching their literal names, I get nothing. What is the point of removing furniture and other types of items?! Absolutely terrible

Ik had een onbetaalde versie van magicplan. Nadat ik een betaalde versie heb zijn mijn twee bestaande gratis projecten ineens verdwenen!
Dit is voor mij echt wel vervelend want ik moet opnieuw alles inmeten op locatie! Erg jammer dat deze integratie niet is mee genomen naar een betaalde versie. Hatsa 2 projecten weg.

Great application, easy to use .. but .. my second floor is under a 45 degree gable roof and part of the house is under a sloped roof. It’s currently not possible to build that, unfortunately .. for me, it would be the difference between 4 and 5 stars!

You get two free projects. Only two! Then you have to buy a monthly subscription.
I was just trying the menu system, I opened a project and then deleted it again. Poof, now I only have one free project left…

Drew our apartment a few years ago using AR and the map from the real estate agent, still works great to this day. I previously posted a complaint in my review, turns out I had the wrong account and didn’t save the generated password to my password manager.

Only thing I miss is a way to put degrees into the corners. Also i would like an ability to place a measurement 60 cm away from the back wall to compare it with the degrees.

However it currently has a bug:
- 3d views have a duplicate floor model which doesn’t rotate along and therefore distort the entire view.
Lacks integration with tools like floorplanner. The market of scanning and planning apps is too fragmented.

I do really like the program but I am missing a “LITE” version subscription. I am making sketches for myself of possible projects I like to do but paying 100 USD annually is just to much! If there would be a “Lite” subscription for 4,99 for 10 projects I would subscribe to the program immediately. Don’t forget 10 projects does not automatically mean that you are working on 10 projects! For example you might have drawings you have finished but might like to save for reference. Other drawings could have been something you had in mind but decided not to continue (for now) or some might be awaiting the time to work on it. Also you can’t really archive or export the projects and import them later again, so you need to keep your projects active or otherwise you lose all your work and data. So in my opinion 10 projects would be a fair amount for a “Lite” subscription. I think adding a “Lite” subscription would definitely create more interest in MagicPlan! I’ll be the first one to sign up! Right now I have a few projects I made previously before younadded a limitation of 2 projects which I can no longer open, see or delete unless I now take a 10 USD subscription. I think those projects should at least be visible or read only. It does not feel right that my own work is now no longer accessible for me. Finally like others since not all projects are bungalows I am really missing the option of putting in ceilings and sloping or angled roofs in the plans. Right now I feel I have to estimate a usuable space in an attic and create a regular room instead of being able to draw an attic with sloping rooflines. For a program where you pay 100 USD annually being able to make sloping roof lines definitely is a must have! Magicplan is great program with a great potential. But unfortunately it is not a fully functional program yet for a professional user due to a number of items that still needs to be addressed.

A great planning/drawing app. Allows for reasonably accurate AR room mapping and comes with very powerful post-measurement adjustment options to exactly size rooms.
But it currently lacks the following:
- a way to set the angle between two walls. Not all walls are 90° to other walls; allow for setting angles by selecting two walls and typing the angle, or even better, just showing the angle.
- setting window height doesn’t work. Distance from floor works well though.
- Lacks certain kitchen cabinet styles like: fridge cabinets, bridge-style doors, cabinet without drawers (it’s 2022 remember), etc.

Is the LiDAR Scanner not available for iPad Pro 11 2021? It isn’t mentioned in the features listed and I can’t find it in the app either.

Revamp work for the app developers: in iPadOS 15.1 the app does not load and show the 3D view anymore.

I downloaded for a simple thing but it turns out it is such a great app that i bought it even not in need

Jammer dat het inscannen van een kamer met meubels vrijwel onmogelijk is. Ook als er inspringende muren zijn is het erg lastig om correcte metingen te voltooien.
