Astropad Studio Drawing Tablet

Working with both a MacBook Pro M1 and iPad M1 11” is shear joy! Along with a USB connection it’s fast enough to replace my Wacom Intuos Pro at this point. (I use it in conjunction with an  Pencil 2 magnetic). Used it for just one day now and can recommend it fully!
Even the magic gestures work great :) Happy customer (and I bought the lifetime version; hate the subscription model tbh)

I used it before and was very happy with it, then switched to sidecar since I thought it would be the same. Sidecar was nothing alike so I quickly switched back to Astropad. It's a very useful app and very much makes my workflow so much easier (lots of photo editing and digital drawing). Definitely recommend it for anyone working on a tablet and working with Adobe CC.

I am a professional illustrator, and for specific work I prefer working on the iPad pro in combination with a MacBook Pro. I recently tried SideCar on my brand new MacBook. It has some really good features, but the brush strokes are not good enough. So Astropad (with Luna Display-of course) remains the essential app for me in this particular set up.

As a lecturer in Computer Science (not an artist at all), Astropad has allowed me to continue teaching in a way that is natural to me, now that all teaching is done remotely.
In combination with a tool such as Screenbrush and Goodnotes (for macOS), I have been able to annotate any application running on my computer. Thus allowing me to point out things in ways similar to how I’d do them during in-person lectures. The customizable side bar gives me the opportunity to quickly activate tools or switch between them.

I own an iPad Pro but I’m working on a MacBook Pro from work. So I can’t use Apple sidecar, so this app is an good alternative. It runs smooth when I’m drawing in adobe animate. Definitely worth the 5 stars and the money

Om een trail te kunnen doen moet je een abonnement afsluiten en niet vergeten op te zeggen binnen zes dagen. Beetje jammer.
De App vindt ik te prijzig om even te proberen en de Standaard versie te prijzig.

Love the app! Sadly not too fast on my Macbook 2011, but that's more due to that machine than the app. Only thing I still miss is Windows support!

Faster than a Cintiq, works on an everyday used product with the most accurate pen input. Simply amazing

Used the previous version a couple of times but color was of and without keyboard functionality you can't use without sitting behind your computer. Felt ripped of already and now you can somewhat use it and you have to pay a high subscription fee. This one is out forever. Even though it looks nice the functionality should be in as an update for this already too expensive app.

Avoid any software with subscription fee. You paid already enough for your Mac and iPad and pencil. This functionality should have already been built in to MacOS and iOS as and appreciation of Apple to their loyal customers.
I am aware that software should be paid for, why should programmers or people with good idea's no income? But subscription fee's are a rip-off. I fully agree with those who have already indicated this in their reviews.

In these dans we are spoiled with cheap or free apps. They don't last for long or they aren't what you expect. But this app have it all, big respect for the team. They are working so hard to give you best experience. And they do, this app makes you're iPad a true Wacom competitor. And please don't complain about the price, it isn't expensive for a premium app like this.

The new Astropad Pro version offers keyboard functionality, which the Standard version misses, at an exorbitant price of € 72,99 per year. The app doesn’t even offer any functionality without this subscription. This app is a shameless rip-off for an in-app keyboard like other VNC applications offer standard.

I was already super happy with Astropad standard but Astropad Studio pushes boundaries! It is crazy fast and you can customize onscreen shortcuts for any application you use on your computer. It's definitely a game changer in my eyes. If you're a creative and are looking for a graphic tablet, forget about Wacom Cintiq, buy an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil!
