Choose your favorite candidate from either Democratic standouts such as Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, and Elizabeth Warren, or Republican favorites including Donald Trump, George W. Bush, and Mike Pence. Don’t like any of the current candidates? No problem, just create your own and adopt some truly wild ideologies (ban all video games - they’ll rot your brain)!

The Political Machine 2020 features unique ideology trees for candidates, allowing for unique experiences each and every playthrough! Earn ideology points from Town Halls and use them to own certain issues. Play as Bernie Sanders and take ownership of the ‘Medicare for All’ issue, or play as Donald Trump to own ‘Build the Wall’. It’s important to win 270 votes in the electoral college, so you’ll need to pay attention to what issues voters care about in the swing states. What plays well in Texas or California might hurt you in Ohio or Florida!

Needs major improvements

The game isn’t necessarily that bad but it lacks some features and needs to add more realism

Issues:

Safe blue states like New York should not be able to flip red because it is one the most democratic states out there.

I played a couple of games ass Kamala and when I won the game refers to her as “he” that clearly needs fixing please.

The lack of candidate variety when booting up the game for the first time is laughable at best, so please add more politicians to start of with, especially in the republican column it confuses me why only the 45th POTUS and his vp are the only republicans you start out with.

Also I am confused as to why the devs thought letting ai decide where the candidate goes or doesn’t go was a good idea. Please add the ability for the player to control where the candidate goes and deciding where to campaign and fundraise.

The game deciding when and where fundraisers are is broken, it’s my campaign and I should decide where i want to collect funds, period.

Just deciding where to put (ineffective) adds and hiring operatives (that can get removed easily) isn’t strategy so again let the player campaign and fundraise.

The whole building of an ideology throughout the campaign sounds good on paper but the amount of states that instantly flip to your side when you chose to endorse a specific subject is ludicrous. It brakes the game and makes it too easy on every difficulty and it makes the campaign essentially about who endorses something the first and it just becomes a cakewalk.

The various shows your candidate is invited to are fun but the question are very repetitive after playing and winning 5 games consecutively. So please add more variety to questions.

Add debates between the candidates.

Not bad on paper but needs major improvements.
