Prachtige verhalen
In m’n vierde incarnatie ben ik een dokter. Overdag doe ik m’n rondes in het ziekenhuis. De avonden zijn voor andere zaken. In mijn bezit een duister manuscript tot mij gekomen van en patient (mijn vorige incarnatie) die krankzinnig de dood vond. Een mooie aanvulling voor mijn immer groeiende bibliotheek met boeken en manuscripten uit duistere oorden en sinistere handels. In m’n kelder klaagt een gevangen ex-discipel, terwijl mijn partner in duistere zaken elders iets voor onze groeiende cultus doet, waarvan ik het fijne eigenlijk niet wil weten...
Deze game vertelt prachtige verhalen met dezelfde eind-19de eeuwse gothic sfeer die ik ken uit de verhalen van Poe, MR James of HP Lovecraft. Prachtig vormgegeven ook, met intrigerende mechanismen en regels. Die je zelf zult moeten ontdekken en uitvogelen. Want dat is een groot deel van het spel. Een meesterlijk spel.
