I signed up for one month to test out Viaplay for the F1 season. I received a receipt for a one month purchase, with no indication of a 12-month plan anywhere. When I realized they only offered Dutch programming in NL (many providers also offer English), I cancelled within the first month. 6 months later I saw they were still charging me. When I complained, they said I purchased a special package for 12 months (paying monthly). That couldn’t be further from the truth, but because I didn’t contact them within 14-days, I lost the ability to reverse it. I’m still paying, still not getting multi-lingual programming and will never trust Viaplay again. I’m not an idiot and never sign up for 12 months, so this is really odd to me. It’s like they switched on me but since I’m 6 months later, I have no other way to prove they did something wrong. But if something is that confusing, then they’re clearly trying on purpose to deceive. Beware.
