Nice presentation, it makes me wonder...
MeerSo, a Tesseract is a four dimensional cube. What would a four dimensional pyramid or cone look like? I suppose the shadow of a four dimensional sphere would still be a sphere. But if you put a dot on the sphere, how will it move with rotation? I don’t think you can properly unfold a 4D sphere now can you? Perhaps you can use some kind of projection, like a 3D map? And what will all these shaped be called? I think there is room for a sequel...:-)
5door E S*******19/12/2022Beautiful design, but..
MeerFor it's money, it's not worth it's value.
It's not much more than an interactively illustrated article on the "tesseract". Very beautiful design and sounds, though. But as I reached the end, I thought it just started to get interesting.
And more importantly, it doesn't even explain the aspect of time as the essence and measure of the fourth dimension ! As a reader, you might get the wrong impression that it's about light, shadows, and folding funny boxes...
So IMHO they really need to improve it on the editorial side.3door Pet*******05/08/2018Positieve opmerkingen
5door J I*****05/11/2014the good the bad and the ugly
MeerThe good: it's a very clear, funny and interactive way to explain the 4 physical dimensions to beginners in a few minutes.
The bad: it's still very basic and simplistic, I got far more information out of classic books like Flatland.
The ugly: it's far too expensive for what you get from it. And you won't use it more than once. I hoped there were links or references to other works for more reading.2door D X*****07/07/2013Good, can be better
MeerWorks really well, but I'm missing some things. First, 4 inch support. Next, Facebook integration (since they already have twitter), and lastly some more pages. But overall it's great, definitely worth the price after the updates mentioned above!

MeerDeze app laat in 3 manieren visueel zien hoe een object in 4 dimensies eruit ziet. Erg leuk gedaan. Aanrader!
5door Sta*******24/06/2012Funny
MeerThe makers refer in their text to Cosmos by Carl Seagan. Well, thats exactly what this app does; visualize a 30 year old explanation of the dimensions, including the fourth (episode 10, 'the edge of forever')
Although nicely done, it's to high a price tag for what you get.2door All*******13/05/2012New way of learning
MeerGreat way to fully use the potential of the iPad for educational purposes. Complex matter made insightful!
5door Ont*******30/03/2012Great view into the forth dimension
MeerVery nicely designed app to give you a view into the 4th dimension (as far as feasible).
