• Please fix the notification actions!

  Deletion from notifications doesn't work anymore: I swipe the push notification, press delete, but the email is still in inbox, so I have to delete it again.
  Update: I tried to clean the cache and even re-installed the app, the problem still persists. Emails being deleted via push notification both on phone and watch don't get deleted until I open the app and delete them from there.

• Great app, but needs some more features

  I am loving the app. The transition from Gmail was effortless, really amazing. Now that I have all mail with Proton, I’d like to continue using labels like I did in Gmail, but it’s quite hard without the option to sort or rename labels. Please add these basic features.

• One of the best

  About a year ago i started to care more about my internet privacy (you all should do the same)
  First step: Go away (far away) from Google.
  Second step: Use better software, browsers, mail and VPN.
  Step three: Care about your Password management.
  That’s where Proton comes in (except for the Browser) but i use Brave Browser by the way.
  The proton services are like heaven on earth (find out yourself)
  Of course there are some things that need improvement , but that’s fine.
  For the Proton mail app.
  * More view style option, text size, mail preview options etc.
  * Schedule mails.
  * Better search options, I want to search for a specific date: Example all mails from December 7 2023 (A selectable calendar would be perfect)
  * Mail grouping, example all mail from John Do.
  * Mail sorting, on size, old-new, new-old, with or without attachments etc.

• Spam box and garbage bin fauld !

  I've i delete a email from my inbox , why is that going too the spambox , it should go too the garbage bin , is it possible too solve this , it was never like this ! I did sign out in the app and empty the cache and it didn't help , my deleted emails are still going too the spam box . I've i got emails from the same person , why Protonmail is gona bundle the emails , it was never like this before !
  Now my incoming mails are also going too the spam box , bring back the old Protonmail app please !

• Scam

  Total scam. 70 eur. Year snd nearly 200 eur year. Not in 200 years. And you cant not import other mail accounts gmail. Or me provider freedom. Wortles ap expensive bs

• Limitations

  - you can not zoom / increase the text/ font size - you can’t search for the text *content* of emails. (Only recipients/subjects) That’s ridiculous… - you can’t get customized notifications, for example for VIPs (like normal Mail app) - you can’t get a notification for a specific email thread.
  This app fails at the basics, the only reason I’m using it is because i have ProtonVpn.

• Emails from protonmail

  is there no possibility to stop the emails from you? Can’t unsubscribe nowhere. And i didn’t want to receive them. If it’s possible more stars. I’m very angry at the moment .
  update: it’s possible to unsubscribe but only in a webbrowser on your pc, not in the app. Thanks to the support i get for this from protonmail. 5 stars when it’s possible in the app. Almost in every app possible.

• Trouble to connect to servers / bad service

  As a paid member , since the update unable to read my emails. Really bad service! Also targeted by hackers , my profile was sold as a royal family member , it is unimaginable that this happens. Use Apple iPhone iOS latest version with a phone service the most expensive subscription with unlimited data and phone calls. DO NOT USE this paid service ! Kind regards Miss drs. J. van den Broek

• App does not work on Mobile data 4G

  The app says you are offline when connected via mobile date. I always have to connect to wifi and turn off mobile data to make the app go online.
  For now I am using proton mail on browser.
  Still a shame that I cannot use the app on my iPhone 8 Plus

• No way to delete contacts from contactlist

  In the past it was possible to delete contacts from the contactlist. Not anymore! Why? Has Swiss Government/EU/NSA/FBI put pressure on Proton to do so? Please restore this option ASAP.
  Sorry, you're right; I was drawing my previous conclusion too quickly. Client-side scanning, dragnets and data retention makes me paranoid.
  Protonmail is still the best!

• OK, but POP is still missing

  It’s good and shiny and undoubtedly super secure, but as long as I can’t use ProtonMail as a POP account, so that I can store my emails ‘in the comfort of my own device’ I am still not contemplating the transfer.
  Cloud computing for things where the cloud is clearly not a necessity, is, in my view, an environmental crime.
  So, again, please support POP accounts and I am all in. But until then, not so much.
