Probably works fine for the workout type walks for which it seems to be intended. However, it is wildly inaccurate for the purpose I wanted to use it for. I go for walks with my wife and two-year-old and wanted to measure the distance for each of the routes we like to take. However, with a two-year-old, you often stop to pause to investigate little twigs or pine cones or what not. When standing still, the app still somehow sees you moving around a little, which resulted in, for instance, a progression of 350 meters when I was really just standing still. This can add up quickly and thus lead to wildly inaccurate distances. There's a "pause" button though, so if you're not with a child, pausing the app every time you have a planned break might work then.
