Way too often the app fails to find my Linn DSi.
DS can be seen in the connected list of my router (Ziggo’s Connecticut), it will play internet radio commanded via the IR-remote control.
Thus far, Linn has failed to supply a fix for this problem that many users experience. Nor supply clear instructions on how users can remedy. Nor to design firmware which reguarly renews it connection with the router as if the device was switched off during idle hours.
Other weakness, this app sucks on finding music on my NAS that runs Twonky. You can browse through your music, but a search commando fails. It works on Qobuz, though.
I like the performance of my DS, but the communication between app and DS is too unstable.
This is an old problem, so I guess Linn can’t be bothered…
