EDIT: Now that I’ve finished it, I sadly need to knock a few stars off my rating. It's incredibly disappointing that the 'bury your lgbts' trope had to be pulled, especially because I didn't expect it to be pulled from this developer. It's a shame how, especially with a women couple, one or both always die in every form of media. Why not give them a happy ending like the other couples in your games? It's not that hard, you don't do it with your hetero couples. I understand you want to tell a tragic story, but why do that with the rare non-hetero couple? It's a shame because I expected much better from GameHouse.
Previous review:
I loved the first Amber's Airlines (and many other GameHouse games) and this one is no different. I really like the speed-up mechanic, it gives a risk-reward aspect to every level. I'm not too far in just yet, but I do love the new outfit unlocks too. They're all incredibly stylish! I love the improved animations and motion-cap cutscenes (like from Sally's Salon 2), they look a lot less stiff and more lively than the previous game did.
And as a side note, I really loved the inclusion of a female couple! I really appreciate the expanding representation in GameHouse games and hope it'll keep up!
